Apple IpadWoodWare Displays Big (& Small) at the AMD Convention in Nashville with the new WebConnect GoMobile Module WoodWare Systems showed off several updates to the new browser-based version including the addition of WoodWare WebConnect GoMobile that was introduced at the AMD convention in Nashville and demonstrated on the Apple iPad.

The benefit is that there is no “app” you have to load and maintain since WebConnect is a browser based application. The centerpiece is WoodWare’s Configured Order Entry. Once it is built in your main WoodWare System, it is immediately available for your in-house customer service, external WoodWare WebConnect users and the WebConnect GoMobile users. WebConect lets your customers easily order complex product configurations with NO MISTAKES, and look up account information 24/7, freeing up your customer service reps for other tasks!

Mike Owens at AMD 2011WoodWare Systems was very excited at the return of Mike Owens, former VP of Sales for WoodWare, after a long illness. Mike has made a miraculous recovery from an aneurism that struck just a few weeks before the AMD convention in Orlando in 2008.

Mike had been with WoodWare as head of the Sales and Marketing area since joining the company in 1991. During that time he was instrumental in helping WoodWare grow its customer base. Mike made many friends in the industry over the years and was recognized by Shelter Magazine in 2007 as one of the Most Influential People in the Millwork Industry.

Nick Carter, President of WoodWare said, “It was really emotional seeing the many people that stopped by and visited with Mike. His warmth, humor and strong work ethic gained him numerous friends and respect in our industry. The smile was there all day!”

According to Mike, “I appreciated so much the warm reception, but appreciated more the many thoughts and prayers that went out during the dark hours. It is just great to be here be able to see everyone again.”

React real-time with WoodWare’s Active Analytics  Unlike most data mining/warehouse tools, WoodWare’s database platform incorporates an integraged business inteligence that can monitor your KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) in real-time which means you can have active analytics to understand what is happening NOW rather than reading stale data.

Real-timeEveryone’s business is different. WoodWare’s real-time, active analytics provides the ability for you to set up the Key Performance Actions based on what is important to you.

Not too long ago, you could rely on reports from the previous days and months for altering your business decisions and strategies. The changing climate has put us into a zero sum game: zero mistakes and improved service with fewer resources! DeepSee is a business intelligence tool that is imbedded into the database therefore providing real-time information.

Most BI systems rely on data warehousing, which means they are gathering data from the ERP systems and then storing the data for analysis. With DeepSee, it is actually an integral part of the WoodWare database. Once you have established your KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and developed the interface you want to use to monitor those KPI’s (dashboards, charts, graphs, tables, etc.) DeepSee does the work for you REAL-TIME.
