WoodWare Systems continues to expand the unique technologies that help millwork companies run their operations with tools never before available. Most systems provide the reports that are needed to run the businesses day-to-day, however, they cannot take into consideration the human factor that does make mistakes.

WorkFlow ChartWoodWare WorkFlow provides a built in capability for a company to define the “loose ends” that eat into their profitability and efficiency. WorkFlow creates automatic notifications that can be delivered via e-mail or messages delivered to your phone for the departments and personnel responsible.

WorkFlow had several methodologies that can be incorporated based on the individual Key Performance Indicator need.

WorkFlow types:
1. Scheduled WorkFlow events can be set to run at specific times and provide the notifications and action items. i.e. at 4:00 pm a WorkFlow process automatically compares any special order doors placed during the day against the inventory and purchasing files to make sure proper action was taken to insure proper delivery. When an issue is found, WorkFlow sends an email to the purchasing agent (and manager) responsible for that order. This is actually in use at a WoodWare customer site and has saved countless customer order headaches.

2. Monitored WorkFlow events are constantly watching for certain indicators that may require action based on a change in status. i.e. when someone in customer service changes the delivery date for a customer order that has already been entered, WorkFlow sees the change and notifies the sales rep of the customer, order number and new date so they can proactively contact the customer depending on the situation.

3. Multipath Event Management Workflows allow you to set up events that may require multiple layers of actions (such as approvals/disapprovals, routing for action). This powerful ability lets you establish tasks and responsibilities that are monitored and managed by the WorkFlow engine. (See attached flow chart example)
